- Let the doctor know if the person develops a Stage 1 pressure ulcer of the skin.
- Let the doctor know how easily the person is able to get in and out of the wheelchair.
- Call the doctor if there are problems with using the chair or difficulty transferring to or from the chair. It may take time to figure out if the chair is meeting the mobility needs of the person you are caring for.
- Report any changes in the person’s strength or endurance.
