- Tell the doctor about any fall or injury and discuss what you think caused the person to fall (such as dizziness, tripping over objects on the floor, trying to avoid a pet). See our lesson on Fall Prevention.
- Tell the doctor if the person you care for is becoming less active or less willing to use the walker when walking.
- Tell the doctor if you see the person using the walker incorrectly. Describe how they walk or stand. Tell the doctor if the person is carrying the walker.
